A comforting and flavorful dish featuring tender chicken breasts in a creamy tomato and basil sauce, perfect for busy weeknights and family dinners.

  • 4 boneless, skinless chicken breasts
  • 1 can (15 oz) tomato sauce
  • 1 cup heavy cream
  • 1/2 cup grated Parmesan cheese
  • 2 cups fresh basil leaves
  • 2 cloves garlic, minced
  • Salt and pepper to taste

Instructions

  1. Place chicken breasts in the slow cooker.
  2. In a separate bowl, mix together tomato sauce, heavy cream, Parmesan cheese, garlic, salt, and pepper.
  3. Pour the sauce mixture over the chicken in the slow cooker.
  4. Cook on low for 360-480 minutes or until the chicken is cooked through and tender.
  5. Before serving, stir in the fresh basil leaves.
  6. Serve warm over pasta or rice.
