A comforting and easy recipe for slow-cooked chicken thighs served with noodles.

Ingredients

  • 4 chicken thighs
  • 2 cups egg noodles
  • 1 cup chicken broth
  • 1 onion, chopped
  • 2 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1 teaspoon dried thyme
  • Salt and pepper to taste
  • 1 tablespoon olive oil

Instructions

  1. Heat olive oil in a skillet over medium heat.
  2. Season chicken thighs with salt and pepper, then brown them in the skillet.
  3. Transfer the browned chicken to the slow cooker.
  4. Add chopped onion, minced garlic, chicken broth, and thyme to the slow cooker.
  5. Cover and cook on low for 6-8 hours or high for 3-4 hours.
  6. About 30 minutes before serving, add the egg noodles to the slow cooker.
  7. Stir well and let the noodles cook until tender.
  8. Serve hot and enjoy!
