A delightful dessert that combines the flavors of coconut, caramel, and chocolate, inspired by the beloved Samoas Girl Scout Cookies.

  • 1 cup shredded coconut
  • 1 cup caramel sauce
  • 1 cup chocolate chips
  • 1/2 cup butter
  • 1/2 cup brown sugar
  • 1/4 cup sweetened condensed milk
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
  • 1/4 teaspoon salt
  • Optional: whipped cream for topping

Instructions

  1. Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C).
  2. Melt butter and brown sugar in a pan over medium heat until bubbly. Add shredded coconut and mix well.
  3. Spread the coconut mixture evenly over the pie crust.
  4. Melt chocolate chips with sweetened condensed milk and vanilla extract in a separate bowl until smooth. Pour this mixture over the coconut layer.
  5. Drizzle caramel sauce over the top.
  6. Bake in the preheated oven for 20-25 minutes or until golden brown.
  7. Allow to cool before serving.
  8. Serve with whipped cream, if desired.

Notes

Use fresh coconut for a more intense flavor. Watch the baking time carefully to avoid overbaking.
