A delightful dish featuring bell peppers stuffed with a creamy ricotta and Parmesan mixture, elevated by fresh herbs.

Ingredients

  • 4 large bell peppers
  • 1 cup ricotta cheese
  • 1/2 cup grated Parmesan cheese
  • 1 cup fresh herbs (such as basil, parsley, and oregano)
  • 1 clove garlic, minced
  • Salt and pepper to taste
  • Olive oil for drizzling

Instructions

  1. Preheat the oven to 375°F (190°C).
  2. Cut the tops off the bell peppers and remove the seeds.
  3. Mix in a bowl, the ricotta, Parmesan, chopped fresh herbs, minced garlic, salt, and pepper until well combined.
  4. Fill each pepper with the ricotta mixture.
  5. Place the stuffed peppers in a baking dish and drizzle with olive oil.
  6. Cover with foil and bake for 30 minutes.
  7. Remove the foil and bake for an additional 10 minutes, until the peppers are tender and the tops are lightly browned.
  8. Serve warm.

Use fresh ingredients for the best flavor and consider adding mozzarella on top for extra creaminess.
