  • 4 cups milk
  • 1 cup sweetened condensed milk
  • 1/2 cup sugar
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
  • 1/2 teaspoon ground cinnamon
  • Pinch of salt

Instructions

  1. Rinse the rice under cold water until the water runs clear.
  2. Combine the rice, milk, and a pinch of salt in a pot. Bring to a simmer over medium heat.
  3. Reduce the heat to low and let it cook, stirring frequently, until the rice is tender and the mixture is creamy (about 20-25 minutes).
  4. Stir in the sweetened condensed milk, sugar, and vanilla extract, and cook for an additional 5 minutes.
  5. Remove from heat and let it cool slightly.
  6. Serve warm or cold, dusted with ground cinnamon.

Notes

For a thicker pudding, cook it a bit longer. Experiment with spices like nutmeg or cardamom for a variation.
