A comforting and delightful Southern classic, this Pimento Cheese offers a creamy texture with sharp cheddar and tangy pimentos, perfect for gatherings.

Ingredients

  • 2 cups sharp cheddar cheese (shredded)
  • 2 cups Monterey Jack cheese (shredded)
  • ½ cup mayonnaise
  • 4 oz jar diced pimentos (drained)
  • ½ teaspoon garlic powder
  • ½ teaspoon onion powder
  • ¼ teaspoon cayenne pepper (optional)
  • Salt and black pepper to taste

Instructions

  1. Combine the shredded sharp cheddar cheese and Monterey Jack cheese in a mixing bowl.
  2. Add the mayonnaise and mix until well blended.
  3. Stir in the diced pimentos, garlic powder, onion powder, and cayenne pepper (if using).
  4. Season with salt and black pepper to taste.
  5. Chill in the refrigerator for at least one hour before serving.

Notes
