A delightful fusion of creamy chickpeas and fragrant basil pesto, perfect for dipping and spreading.

Ingredients

  • 1 can (15 oz) chickpeas, drained and rinsed
  • 1/4 cup tahini
  • 1/4 cup fresh basil pesto
  • 2 tbsp olive oil
  • 2 tbsp lemon juice
  • 1 garlic clove
  • Salt to taste
  • Water as needed

Instructions

  1. Combine chickpeas, tahini, pesto, olive oil, lemon juice, garlic, and salt in a food processor.
  2. Blend until smooth.
  3. Add water a tablespoon at a time if the hummus is too thick until the desired consistency is reached.
  4. Serve immediately or refrigerate until ready to serve.
