A comforting and flavorful dish that combines tender chicken with zesty banana peppers and a rich, creamy sauce.

Ingredients

Scale
  • 1 pound chicken breast, cut into pieces
  • 1 cup banana pepper rings (canned or fresh)
  • 1 cup heavy cream or coconut milk
  • 1 tablespoon olive oil
  • 1 teaspoon garlic powder
  • 1 teaspoon onion powder
  • Salt and pepper to taste
  • Fresh parsley for garnish (optional)

Instructions

  1. Heat a large skillet over medium heat and add the olive oil.
  2. Add the chicken pieces and season with garlic powder, onion powder, salt, and pepper. Cook until the chicken is browned and cooked through, about 5-7 minutes.
  3. Stir in the banana pepper rings and cook for another 2 minutes.
  4. Pour in the heavy cream or coconut milk and stir to combine. Allow the mixture to simmer for a few minutes until it thickens slightly.
  5. Serve hot, garnished with fresh parsley if desired.

Notes

For a lighter option, substitute half and half for heavy cream. Consider adding spinach or mushrooms for extra nutrition.
