- 8 slices of bread
- 6 large eggs
- 1 cup milk
- 1 cup shredded Swiss cheese
- 1 cup diced ham
- 1 cup diced turkey
- 1/4 cup powdered sugar
- 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
- 1/2 teaspoon salt
- 1/4 teaspoon black pepper
- Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C).
- Grease a 9×13 inch baking dish.
- Layer half of the bread slices in the bottom of the dish.
- In a bowl, whisk together eggs, milk, vanilla, salt, and pepper.
- Pour half of the egg mixture over the bread.
- Add the diced ham and turkey, then sprinkle with Swiss cheese.
- Layer the remaining bread slices on top.
- Pour the remaining egg mixture over the top.
- Cover and refrigerate for at least 1 hour or overnight.
- Bake uncovered for 45-50 minutes until golden brown and set.
- Dust with powdered sugar before serving.
