Ingredients

  • 14 oz firm tofu, pressed and cubed
  • 2 tablespoons olive oil
  • 2 tablespoons lemon juice
  • 2 teaspoons ground cumin
  • 2 teaspoons ground coriander
  • 1 teaspoon smoked paprika
  • 1 teaspoon garlic powder
  • Salt and pepper to taste
  • Skewers (soaked in water if wooden)

Instructions

  1. In a bowl, combine olive oil, lemon juice, cumin, coriander, smoked paprika, garlic powder, salt, and pepper.
  2. Add the cubed tofu to the marinade and toss to coat. Let it marinate for at least 30 minutes.
  3. Preheat the grill or a grill pan over medium heat.
  4. Thread the marinated tofu onto the skewers.
  5. Grill the kebabs for about 10-15 minutes, turning occasionally, until golden and slightly charred.
  6. Serve hot with your favorite dipping sauce or in a wrap.

Notes

  • For extra flavor, add vegetables like bell peppers or onions to the skewers.
  • These kebabs can be made ahead of time and stored in the refrigerator.
  • Serve with tahini sauce or a yogurt dip for added taste.
