Delightful bites that combine the spicy kick of jalapeños with creamy cheese and ground meat, perfect for gatherings and parties.

Ingredients

  • 1 lb ground turkey or lean beef
  • 4 oz cream cheese, softened
  • 1/2 cup shredded cheddar cheese
  • 1/4 cup diced jalapeños (fresh or pickled)
  • 1/2 teaspoon garlic powder
  • 1/2 teaspoon onion powder
  • Salt and pepper to taste
  • 1/2 cup breadcrumbs (optional for coating)
  • Cooking spray or oil for baking

Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 400°F (200°C).
  2. Combine in a large bowl the ground turkey or beef, cream cheese, cheddar cheese, diced jalapeños, garlic powder, onion powder, salt, and pepper.
  3. Mix thoroughly until well combined.
  4. Form the mixture into small bite-sized patties or balls.
  5. Roll each patty in breadcrumbs to coat, if using.
  6. Place the patties on a baking sheet lined with parchment paper and lightly spray with cooking spray or drizzle with a little oil.
  7. Bake for 15-20 minutes or until cooked through and browned.
  8. Serve warm, optionally with dipping sauce.

Notes

For extra spice, add more jalapeños or cayenne pepper. Store leftovers in an airtight container in the refrigerator for up to 3 days.
