A delightful Italian dish featuring tender chicken breasts wrapped in prosciutto and fresh sage, delivering a flavor-packed experience.

Ingredients

  • 4 chicken breasts
  • 8 slices of prosciutto
  • Fresh sage leaves
  • Salt and pepper to taste
  • 2 tablespoons olive oil
  • 1/2 cup white wine
  • 2 tablespoons butter

Instructions

  1. Preheat a skillet over medium heat. Season the chicken breasts with salt and pepper, and top each breast with two slices of prosciutto and a few sage leaves.
  2. Heat the olive oil in the skillet. Add the chicken, prosciutto side down, and cook until golden brown, about 3-4 minutes.
  3. Flip the chicken and cook for another 3-4 minutes.
  4. Remove the chicken from the skillet and set aside.
  5. Add the white wine to the same skillet to deglaze, scraping up any bits from the bottom.
  6. Stir in the butter and return the chicken to the skillet, letting it simmer for a few minutes.
  7. Serve hot, garnished with extra sage if desired.

Use high-quality prosciutto and fresh sage for the best flavor. Allow chicken to rest after cooking for tenderness.
