  • 8 slices bacon, cooked crisp and crumbled
  • 2/3 cup brown sugar (light or dark)
  • 1/4 cup butter, melted
  • 1/4 cup low-sodium soy sauce
  • 1 teaspoon garlic powder
  • 1/2 teaspoon black pepper

Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C).
  2. Lightly grease a 9×13-inch baking dish.
  3. Cook bacon in a skillet over medium heat until crisp.
  4. Drain bacon on paper towels, then crumble and set aside.
  5. Whisk together melted butter, brown sugar, soy sauce, garlic powder, and pepper in a bowl until smooth.
  6. Place drained green beans in the prepared baking dish.
  7. Pour the sauce mixture evenly over the green beans and toss to coat.
  8. Sprinkle with the crumbled bacon.
  9. Bake uncovered for 25–30 minutes, or until the sauce is bubbly and slightly thickened.
