A hearty and comforting casserole perfect for spring, combining gluten-free sausage and crispy hash browns.

Ingredients

  • 1 pound gluten-free sausage
  • 4 cups frozen hash browns
  • 1 cup shredded cheddar cheese
  • 4 large eggs
  • 1 cup milk
  • 1 teaspoon garlic powder
  • 1 teaspoon onion powder
  • Salt and pepper to taste

Instructions

  1. Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C).
  2. In a skillet, cook the gluten-free sausage over medium heat until browned.
  3. In a large bowl, combine the cooked sausage, hash browns, and half of the cheddar cheese.
  4. In another bowl, whisk together the eggs, milk, garlic powder, onion powder, salt, and pepper.
  5. Pour the egg mixture over the sausage and hash brown mixture, stirring to combine.
  6. Transfer the mixture to a greased baking dish and top with the remaining cheddar cheese.
  7. Bake for 45-50 minutes, or until the casserole is set and golden brown on top.
  8. Let it cool for a few minutes before serving.
