Delicious and chewy gluten-free soft pretzel bites that are perfect for snacking.

Ingredients

  • 1 ½ cups gluten-free all-purpose flour
  • 1 teaspoon baking powder
  • ½ teaspoon salt
  • 1 tablespoon sugar
  • 1 teaspoon active dry yeast
  • ¾ cup warm water
  • 2 tablespoons melted butter
  • Coarse sea salt for sprinkling

Instructions

  1. In a bowl, combine warm water, sugar, and yeast. Let it sit for 5 minutes until frothy.
  2. In a separate bowl, mix gluten-free flour, baking powder, and salt.
  3. Add the yeast mixture and melted butter to the dry ingredients. Mix until a dough forms.
  4. Preheat the oven to 425°F (220°C) and line a baking sheet with parchment paper.
  5. Divide the dough into small pieces and roll each piece into a bite-sized ball.
  6. Boil a pot of water and add baking soda. Drop the pretzel bites into the boiling water for about 30 seconds.
  7. Remove the bites and place them on the prepared baking sheet. Sprinkle with coarse sea salt.
  8. Bake for 12-15 minutes or until golden brown.
