Gluten-Free Gravy

A rich, savory gluten-free gravy ideal for enhancing meats and dishes without compromising on flavor.

Ingredients

Scale
  • 2 tablespoons butter or oil
  • 2 tablespoons gluten-free flour (such as rice flour or a gluten-free blend)
  • 2 cups broth (chicken, turkey, or beef)
  • Salt and pepper to taste
  • Optional: drippings from cooked meat

Instructions

  1. In a saucepan, melt the butter or heat the oil over medium heat.
  2. Whisk in the gluten-free flour and cook for about 1 minute until golden brown.
  3. Gradually add the broth while whisking continuously to avoid lumps.
  4. Bring the mixture to a simmer and cook until thickened, about 5-10 minutes.
  5. If using, stir in the drippings for added flavor.
  6. Season with salt and pepper to taste, then serve over your choice of turkey, chicken, or beef.

Notes
