Delicious and fluffy cinnamon rolls made without gluten, perfect for breakfast or dessert.

  • 2 cups gluten-free all-purpose flour
  • 1/4 cup sugar
  • 1 tablespoon baking powder
  • 1/2 teaspoon salt
  • 1/2 cup milk (or dairy-free alternative)
  • 1/4 cup melted butter (or dairy-free alternative)
  • 1 large egg
  • 1 tablespoon cinnamon
  • 1/4 cup brown sugar
  • 1/2 cup powdered sugar (for icing)
  • 1 tablespoon vanilla extract (for icing)

Instructions

  1. Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C).
  2. In a large bowl, mix the gluten-free flour, sugar, baking powder, and salt.
  3. Add the milk, melted butter, and egg to the dry ingredients and mix until a dough forms.
  4. Roll out the dough on a floured surface into a rectangle.
  5. Spread melted butter over the dough, then sprinkle with cinnamon and brown sugar.
  6. Roll the dough tightly into a log and cut into 12 equal pieces.
  7. Place the rolls in a greased baking dish and bake for 25-30 minutes.
  8. While the rolls are baking, mix powdered sugar and vanilla extract to make the icing.
  9. Once the rolls are done, drizzle the icing over the warm rolls and serve.
