A luxurious and flavorful dish featuring lobster tails broiled with a rich garlic butter sauce.

Ingredients

Scale
  • 2 lobster tails (approximately 6 to 8 ounces each)
  • 4 tablespoons unsalted butter (liquefied)
  • 2 garlic cloves (minced to a fine paste)
  • 1 teaspoon fresh lemon juice (squeezed)
  • ¼ teaspoon ground paprika
  • 1 teaspoon finely chopped parsley (fresh or dried)
  • Freshly milled black pepper and sea salt (to season)
  • Lemon slices (to accompany when serving)

Instructions

  1. Slice through the upper center of each lobster shell with kitchen scissors, halting just before reaching the tail end.
  2. Separate the meat from the shell and elevate it, ensuring it remains attached at the base. Position the meat atop the shell for presentation.
  3. Dab the lobster flesh gently with paper towels to remove excess moisture.
  4. Combine in a mixing bowl the melted butter with minced garlic, lemon juice, paprika, chopped parsley, and a pinch each of salt and pepper.
  5. Coat the lobster meat thoroughly with half of the prepared garlic butter using a pastry brush.
  6. Preheat your oven’s broiler to a high setting (approximately 500°F / 260°C).
  7. Place the prepared lobster tails onto a foil-lined baking sheet, around 5–6 inches beneath the broiler element.
  8. Cook for 8 to 10 minutes, until the meat becomes opaque and lightly caramelized on top. Midway through broiling, ladle additional garlic butter over each tail.
  9. Drizzle the remaining garlic butter over the hot lobster tails once cooked.
  10. Sprinkle with a final touch of parsley and serve with lemon wedges on the side.

Notes

For the best flavor, use fresh garlic and ensure the lobster meat is well attached to the shell for presentation.
