Delightful pastries filled with sweet and tangy pineapple, enveloped in a flaky crust—a perfect treat for gatherings or cozy nights.

Ingredients

  • 1 cup all-purpose flour
  • 1/4 cup butter, cold and cubed
  • 1/4 teaspoon salt
  • 2-3 tablespoons cold water
  • 1 cup fresh pineapple, diced
  • 1/4 cup sugar
  • 1 teaspoon cornstarch
  • 1/2 teaspoon cinnamon
  • 1 egg, beaten (for egg wash)

Instructions

  1. Combine flour, salt, and butter in a bowl. Mix until crumbly.
  2. Gradually add cold water, mixing until dough forms. Wrap and chill for 30 minutes.
  3. Mix diced pineapple, sugar, cornstarch, and cinnamon in another bowl.
  4. Preheat oven to 375°F (190°C).
  5. Roll out dough and cut into circles.
  6. Place a spoonful of pineapple mixture in the center of each circle.
  7. Fold and seal edges, brushing with egg wash.
  8. Bake for 20-25 minutes or until golden brown.
  9. Let cool slightly before serving.
