A delightful fusion of sweet figs and tangy goat cheese wrapped in flaky puff pastry, perfect for any occasion.

Ingredients

  • 1 package puff pastry (thawed)
  • 1 cup goat cheese (softened)
  • 1/2 cup fresh figs (chopped)
  • 2 tablespoons honey
  • Salt and pepper to taste
  • 1 egg (beaten, for egg wash)

Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 400°F (200°C).
  2. Roll out the thawed puff pastry on a lightly floured surface until it’s a thin rectangle.
  3. Spread the softened goat cheese evenly over the pastry.
  4. Sprinkle the chopped figs over the goat cheese layer.
  5. Drizzle honey across the fig mixture.
  6. Season with salt and pepper to taste.
  7. Roll the pastry tightly into a log, starting from one long side.
  8. Slice the log into 1-inch thick pinwheels.
  9. Place the pinwheels on a parchment-lined baking sheet.
  10. Brush the tops of the pinwheels with the beaten egg for a golden finish.
  11. Bake in the preheated oven for about 20-25 minutes or until golden brown.
