Indulge in these delicious Crab Fries that combine crispy fries with creamy cheeses and lump crab meat, enhanced by Old Bay seasoning.

Ingredients

Scale
  • 2 (20 oz) bags frozen waffle fries
  • 6 oz cream cheese, whipped
  • 1/4 cup mayonnaise
  • 2 teaspoons Worcestershire sauce
  • 1/2 tablespoon Old Bay seasoning
  • 1 tablespoon lemon juice
  • 1/2 pound jumbo lump or lump crab meat
  • 1/4 cup shredded mozzarella cheese
  • 1/4 cup shredded cheddar cheese
  • 3 tablespoons scallions, thinly sliced

Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven and bake the frozen waffle fries according to the package instructions until crispy and golden brown.
  2. Combine the whipped cream cheese, mayonnaise, Worcestershire sauce, Old Bay seasoning, and lemon juice in a large mixing bowl.
  3. Fold in the crab meat along with half of the shredded cheddar cheese and all of the mozzarella cheese, being careful not to break up the crab meat.
  4. Reduce the oven temperature to 350°F (175°C) and line a baking sheet with parchment paper once the fries are done baking.
  5. Spread the baked fries evenly on the parchment-lined baking sheet.
  6. Top the fries with the prepared crab mixture and sprinkle the remaining cheddar cheese over the top.
  7. Bake for 15-20 minutes, or until the cheese is melted and the crab mixture is heated through.
  8. Broil for an extra crispy finish for 1-2 minutes, watching carefully to prevent burning.
  9. Remove from the oven and garnish with thinly sliced scallions.
  10. Serve immediately either on the baking sheet or transfer to a serving dish.
