Instructions

  1. Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C) and line a baking sheet with parchment paper.
  2. Cream together the softened butter and sugar in a large bowl until light and fluffy.

  4. Mix together the cornmeal, flour, baking powder, and salt in another bowl. Gradually add this dry mixture to the wet ingredients, stirring until just combined.
  5. Drop spoonfuls of dough onto the prepared baking sheet.
  6. Bake for 12-15 minutes or until lightly golden.
  7. Allow the cookies to cool before topping with honey buttercream frosting.
  8. Drizzle with honey and sprinkle with flaky sea salt before serving.
