Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C) and line a muffin tin with mini muffin liners.
  2. Whisk together the all-purpose flour, whole wheat flour, sugar, baking powder, baking soda, and salt in a large bowl.
  3. Combine the applesauce, milk, vegetable oil, and vanilla extract in another bowl.
  4. Pour the wet ingredients into the dry ingredients and mix until just combined.
  5. Fold in the mini chocolate chips.
  6. Fill each muffin liner about 2/3 full with the batter.
  7. Bake for 12-15 minutes, or until a toothpick comes out clean.
  8. Allow to cool before serving.

Notes

For sugar reduction, consider using Stevia, Monk Fruit, or Allulose as substitutes.
