  • 1/2 cup vegetable oil
  • 2 teaspoons vanilla extract
  • 1 cup boiling water
  • 1 teaspoon ground chili powder
  • 1/2 teaspoon cinnamon

Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C).
  2. Mix together the flour, sugar, cocoa powder, baking powder, baking soda, salt, chili powder, and cinnamon in a large bowl.
  3. Add the eggs, milk, vegetable oil, and vanilla extract to the dry ingredients and mix until well combined.
  4. Gradually stir in the boiling water until the batter is smooth.
  5. Pour the batter into a greased and floured cake pan.
  6. Bake for 30-35 minutes, or until a toothpick inserted in the center comes out clean.
