A delightful fusion of grilled chicken, fresh tomatoes, creamy mozzarella, and aromatic basil, Chicken Margherita is a quick and flavorful meal perfect for any occasion.

  • 4 boneless, skinless chicken breasts
  • 2 large tomatoes, sliced
  • 1 cup fresh mozzarella cheese, sliced
  • 1 cup fresh basil leaves
  • 2 tablespoons olive oil
  • Salt and pepper to taste
  • Balsamic glaze for drizzling (optional)

Instructions

  1. Preheat your grill to medium-high heat.
  2. Brush the chicken breasts with olive oil and season with salt and pepper.
  3. Grill the chicken for about 6-7 minutes on each side, or until fully cooked.
  4. Top each chicken breast with slices of tomato and mozzarella during the last few minutes of grilling. Close the grill lid to melt the cheese.
  5. Remove from grill, and top with fresh basil leaves.
