Delicious Chicken Fajitas with tender chicken strips, roasted peppers, and spices, perfect for a quick and flavorful meal.

Ingredients

  • 1 lb chicken breast, sliced
  • 2 bell peppers, sliced (red and green)
  • 1 onion, sliced
  • 2 tablespoons olive oil
  • 2 tablespoons fajita seasoning
  • Salt and pepper, to taste
  • Tortillas, for serving
  • Optional toppings: sour cream, salsa, guacamole

Instructions

  1. Toss the chicken slices with olive oil and fajita seasoning until well coated. Let marinate for at least 30 minutes.
  2. Heat a skillet over medium-high heat. Add the marinated chicken and cook until browned and cooked through, about 5-7 minutes.
  3. Add the sliced bell peppers and onion to the skillet and cook until they are softened, about 5 more minutes.
  4. Season with salt and pepper.
  5. Serve the chicken and veggies in warm tortillas with your choice of toppings.

Notes

For the best flavor, marinate the chicken longer if possible. Ensure your skillet is hot for a great sear.
