Delicious and easy-to-make lettuce wraps filled with savory ground turkey, garlic, and ginger, inspired by P.F. Chang’s.

Ingredients

  • 1 lb lean ground turkey
  • 2 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1 inch piece of ginger, minced
  • 1/4 cup soy sauce
  • 2 tablespoons hoisin sauce
  • 1 tablespoon rice vinegar
  • 1 tablespoon sesame oil
  • 1/2 cup water chestnuts, chopped
  • 1/4 cup green onions, sliced
  • Lettuce cups (butter or romaine lettuce)
  • Sesame seeds for topping

Instructions

  1. Heat sesame oil in a large skillet over medium heat.
  2. Add minced garlic and ginger, sautéing until fragrant.
  3. Stir in ground turkey and cook until browned.
  4. Pour in soy sauce, hoisin sauce, rice vinegar, and chopped water chestnuts; cook for an additional 2-3 minutes.
  5. Remove from heat and fold in sliced green onions.
  6. Serve the turkey mixture in lettuce cups and top with sesame seeds.

Notes

Customize your wraps with additional vegetables like bell peppers or mushrooms for extra flavor.
