Instructions

  1. Preheat the oven to 400°F (200°C).
  2. Trim the radishes, removing the tops and any roots.
  3. Halve the radishes lengthwise, if they’re large, to ensure even cooking.
  4. Place the radishes in a mixing bowl.
  5. Drizzle the melted butter over the radishes.
  6. Sprinkle with salt and pepper to taste.
  7. Toss gently to coat the radishes evenly in the butter and seasonings.
  8. Arrange the radishes in a single layer on a baking sheet, cut side down for optimal caramelization.
  9. Roast in the preheated oven for 25-30 minutes, or until the radishes are fork-tender and lightly browned.
  10. Remove from the oven and let cool slightly.
