A heartwarming classic soup combining creamy beans and smoky kielbasa, perfect for chilly days.

Ingredients

  • 1 can of white beans (cannellini or Great Northern)
  • 1 kielbasa sausage, sliced
  • 1 onion, chopped
  • 2 cloves garlic, minced
  • 4 cups vegetable or chicken broth
  • 1 cup heavy cream
  • 1 teaspoon Italian seasoning
  • Salt and pepper to taste
  • Fresh parsley for garnish

Instructions

  1. Sauté the chopped onion and minced garlic in a large pot over medium heat until softened.
  2. Add the sliced kielbasa and cook until browned.
  3. Stir in the white beans, broth, and Italian seasoning.
  4. Bring to a simmer and cook for about 15 minutes.
  5. Stir in the heavy cream, and season with salt and pepper.
  6. Serve hot, garnished with fresh parsley.

Notes

For a vegetarian version, substitute kielbasa with a plant-based sausage and use vegetable broth.
