A whimsical dessert that combines ripe bananas, creamy peanut butter, and rich dark chocolate for a delightful treat.

Ingredients

Scale
  • 2 medium ripe bananas
  • 4 tbsp peanut butter (or your favorite nut/seed butter)
  • 45 tbsp dark chocolate, melted
  • 1/4 tsp coconut oil
  • 3 tbsp chopped peanuts (or other chopped nuts/seeds)
  • Pinch of flaky sea salt

Instructions

  1. Line a baking sheet with parchment paper.
  2. Peel each banana and slice each in half lengthwise.
  3. Cut each long half into two pieces so you end up with 8 long banana slabs.
  4. Arrange them on the prepared tray.
  5. Spread about 1/2 tablespoon of peanut butter over each banana piece, covering the top fully.
  6. Scatter chopped peanuts over the peanut-butter layer and add a tiny pinch of sea salt to amplify the flavor.
  7. In a microwave-safe bowl, combine the dark chocolate and coconut oil.
  8. Heat in 20–30 second bursts, stirring between bursts, until the chocolate is fully melted and glossy.
  9. Spoon or drizzle the melted chocolate over each banana slice, covering the peanut butter.
  10. Freeze the tray for at least 60 minutes, or until the chocolate has set solid.
