Adorable appetizers shaped like carrots, filled with a zesty herbed cream cheese mixture wrapped in flaky crescent roll dough.

Ingredients

  • 1 package crescent roll dough
  • 8 oz cream cheese
  • 2 tbsp herbs (such as dill, chives, or parsley)
  • 1/2 tsp salt
  • 1/4 tsp pepper
  • Fresh parsley (for garnish)

Instructions

  1. Preheat the oven according to the crescent roll package instructions.
  2. Mix the cream cheese with your choice of herbs, salt, and pepper until smooth.
  3. Unroll the crescent roll dough and separate the triangles.
  4. Place a spoonful of the herbed cream cheese mixture at the wide end of each triangle.
  5. Roll the dough from the wide end to the point, forming a carrot shape.
  6. Place on a baking sheet and bake according to package instructions until golden brown.
  7. Remove from the oven, let cool slightly, and garnish with fresh parsley to resemble carrots.
