A delightful gluten-free pizza crust that is chewy, crispy, and easy to make, perfect for pizza lovers with dietary sensitivities.

Ingredients

  • 2 cups all purpose gluten free flour blend (Better Batter highly recommended)
  • 1 teaspoon xanthan gum (omit if your blend already contains it)
  • 1/4 cup tapioca starch/flour
  • 2 teaspoons instant yeast
  • 1 1/2 teaspoons granulated sugar
  • 1 teaspoon kosher salt
  • 9.5 ounces warm water (about 95°F)
  • 2 tablespoons extra virgin olive oil
  • Cooking oil spray
  • Your favorite pizza toppings

Instructions

  1. In a large mixing bowl, combine gluten free flour blend, xanthan gum, tapioca starch, yeast, sugar, and salt. Mix well.
  2. Gradually add warm water and olive oil to dry ingredients. Stir until a sticky dough forms.
  3. Cover bowl with a clean cloth and let it sit for about 30 minutes to rise.
  4. Preheat oven to 475°F (245°C) and prepare a baking sheet with cooking oil spray.
  5. Lightly flour a clean surface with gluten-free flour and transfer the dough. Shape it into desired pizza crust form.
  6. Place crust onto prepared baking sheet, top with favorite toppings, and bake for about 12-15 minutes or until crust is golden and toppings are bubbly.

Notes

Enjoy with your favorite toppings and a side of rich marinara or fresh basil. Can be frozen for up to 3 months and stored in the fridge for up to 3 days.
