A delightful and easy-to-make dessert featuring layers of strawberries, whipped cream, and cake.

Ingredients

  • 2 cups fresh strawberries, sliced
  • 1 cup whipped cream
  • 1 pound cake, cut into cubes
  • 2 tablespoons sugar
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract

Instructions

  1. In a bowl, mix the sliced strawberries with sugar and let them sit for about 10 minutes.
  2. In another bowl, combine the whipped cream with vanilla extract.
  3. In serving glasses, layer the pound cake cubes, followed by a layer of strawberries, and then a layer of whipped cream.
  4. Repeat the layers until the glasses are filled.
  5. Top with additional strawberries and a dollop of whipped cream.
  6. Chill in the refrigerator for at least 30 minutes before serving.
