- In a bowl, mix the sliced strawberries with sugar and let them sit for about 10 minutes.
- In another bowl, combine the whipped cream with vanilla extract.
- In serving glasses, layer the pound cake cubes, followed by a layer of strawberries, and then a layer of whipped cream.
- Repeat the layers until the glasses are filled.
- Top with additional strawberries and a dollop of whipped cream.
- Chill in the refrigerator for at least 30 minutes before serving.
