- 2 cups crushed pretzels
- 1/2 cup unsalted butter, melted
- 1/4 cup granulated sugar
- 1 package (8 oz) cream cheese, softened
- 1 cup powdered sugar
- 1 cup whipped topping
- 2 cups fresh strawberries, sliced
- 1 package (6 oz) strawberry gelatin
- 2 cups boiling water
- 2 cups cold water
- Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C).
- In a bowl, mix crushed pretzels, melted butter, and granulated sugar. Press the mixture into the bottom of a 9×13 inch baking dish.
- Bake for 10 minutes, then let it cool completely.
- In another bowl, beat the cream cheese and powdered sugar until smooth. Fold in the whipped topping.
- Spread the cream cheese mixture over the cooled pretzel crust.
- In a separate bowl, dissolve the strawberry gelatin in boiling water. Stir in cold water and let it cool slightly.
- Add the sliced strawberries to the gelatin mixture.
- Pour the strawberry mixture over the cream cheese layer and refrigerate until set, about 4 hours.
- Cut into squares and serve chilled.
