  • 1/4 cup powdered sugar
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract

  • 1 tablespoon milk (for egg wash)

Instructions

  1. Preheat the oven to 400°F (200°C).
  2. Roll out the puff pastry on a floured surface and cut into squares.
  3. Mix the softened cream cheese, powdered sugar, and vanilla extract in a bowl until smooth.
  4. Place a spoonful of the cream cheese mixture in the center of each pastry square.
  5. Top with sliced strawberries.
  6. Fold the corners of the pastry over the filling to create a pocket.
  7. Whisk together the egg and milk in a small bowl to create an egg wash. Brush the mixture over the pastries.
  8. Bake for 15-20 minutes or until golden brown.
