  • 4 chicken thighs
  • 1 cup apple cider
  • 2 tablespoons soy sauce
  • 1 tablespoon honey
  • 1 teaspoon garlic powder
  • 1 teaspoon onion powder
  • Salt and pepper to taste
  • 2 cups shredded cabbage
  • 1 cup shredded carrots
  • 1/2 cup sliced apples
  • 1/4 cup apple cider vinegar
  • 2 tablespoons olive oil
  • 1 tablespoon maple syrup
  • 1/4 cup chopped walnuts

Instructions

  1. In a bowl, mix apple cider, soy sauce, honey, garlic powder, onion powder, salt, and pepper.
  2. Marinate the chicken thighs in the mixture for at least 30 minutes.
  3. Preheat the oven to 375°F (190°C).
  4. Place the marinated chicken in a baking dish and pour the remaining marinade over it.
  5. Bake for 25-30 minutes or until the chicken is cooked through and caramelized.
  6. In a separate bowl, combine shredded cabbage, carrots, sliced apples, apple cider vinegar, olive oil, maple syrup, and walnuts to make the slaw.
  7. Toss the slaw until well combined and serve alongside the sticky chicken.
