  • 1 cup milk
  • 1 large egg
  • 2 tablespoons melted butter

Instructions

  1. In a large bowl, mix together the sourdough discard, flour, sugar, baking powder, baking soda, and salt.
  2. In another bowl, whisk together the milk, egg, and melted butter.
  3. Combine the wet ingredients with the dry ingredients and stir until just combined.
  4. Heat a non-stick skillet over medium heat and pour 1/4 cup of batter for each pancake.
  5. Cook until bubbles form on the surface, then flip and cook until golden brown.
  6. Serve warm with your favorite toppings.

  • For a fluffier pancake, let the batter rest for 10-15 minutes before cooking.
