1 lb chicken breast, cut into bite-sized pieces
1/2 cup cornstarch
1/4 cup all-purpose flour
1/2 tsp salt
1/2 tsp black pepper
1/2 cup honey
1/4 cup soy sauce
2 tbsp sesame oil
1 tbsp rice vinegar
1 tbsp sesame seeds
2 green onions, chopped
Oil for frying
Instructions
In a bowl, mix cornstarch, flour, salt, and pepper.
Coat the chicken pieces in the flour mixture.
Heat oil in a pan over medium heat and fry the chicken until golden brown.
In a separate saucepan, combine honey, soy sauce, sesame oil, and rice vinegar. Bring to a simmer.
Add the fried chicken to the sauce and toss to coat.
Sprinkle sesame seeds and green onions on top before serving.
Notes
For extra crunch, double fry the chicken.
Adjust the sweetness by adding more or less honey.
