  • 1/2 cup sugar
  • 1/4 cup unsalted butter, melted

  • 1 tablespoon orange zest
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract

  • 1/2 teaspoon baking soda
  • 1/4 teaspoon salt

Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 375°F (190°C) and line a muffin tin with paper liners.
  2. Whisk together the flour, sugar, baking powder, baking soda, and salt in a large bowl.
  3. Mix the buttermilk, melted butter, egg, orange zest, and vanilla extract in another bowl until well combined.

  6. Bake for 18-20 minutes, or until a toothpick inserted into the center comes out clean.
