A simple and delicious recipe for making gluten-free Italian bread without the need for kneading.

Ingredients

  • 3 cups gluten-free all-purpose flour
  • 1 ½ teaspoons salt
  • 1 teaspoon instant yeast
  • 1 ½ cups warm water
  • 1 tablespoon olive oil

Instructions

  1. In a large bowl, mix the gluten-free flour, salt, and instant yeast together.
  2. Add the warm water and olive oil to the dry ingredients and stir until well combined.
  3. Cover the bowl with plastic wrap and let the dough rise for 12-18 hours at room temperature.
  4. After the dough has risen, preheat your oven to 450°F (230°C) and place a Dutch oven inside to heat up.
  5. Once the oven is hot, carefully remove the Dutch oven and transfer the dough onto a floured surface.
  6. Shape the dough into a ball and place it on a piece of parchment paper.
  7. Remove the Dutch oven from the oven and carefully place the dough (with the parchment paper) into it.
  8. Cover and bake for 30 minutes, then remove the lid and bake for an additional 15-20 minutes until golden brown.
  9. Let the bread cool on a wire rack before slicing.
