A simple and delicious No Knead Gluten Free Bread recipe with a golden crust and soft, airy inside, perfect for any occasion.

Ingredients

Scale
  • 2 cups gluten-free all-purpose flour (with xanthan gum or add 1 tsp separately)
  • 1 teaspoon salt
  • 1 teaspoon instant yeast
  • 1 tablespoon sugar (or honey)
  • 1.5 cups warm water (not hot)
  • 1 tablespoon olive oil

Instructions

  1. In a large mixing bowl, combine gluten-free flour, salt, instant yeast, and sugar.
  2. Gradually pour in warm water and olive oil into the dry ingredients.
  3. Mix the ingredients using a wooden spoon or spatula until well combined. The dough will be sticky.
  4. Cover the bowl with plastic wrap or a damp kitchen towel and let the dough rise for 12-18 hours until it has doubled in size.
  5. Preheat your oven to 450°F (230°C) with a Dutch oven inside.
  6. Once risen, carefully remove the plastic wrap, lightly flour your work surface, and shape the dough into a ball.
  7. Place the dough on parchment paper and transfer it into the preheated Dutch oven.
  8. Cover with the lid and bake for 30 minutes, then remove the lid and bake for another 15-20 minutes until golden brown.
  9. Let the bread cool on a wire rack for at least 30 minutes before slicing.

Notes

For sugar substitutes, consider using Stevia, Monk fruit, or Allulose for a lower sugar option. Ensure you preheat your Dutch oven for a crusty exterior.
