  • ½ cup unsalted butter, melted
  • 1 cup cream cheese, softened
  • 1 cup powdered sugar
  • 1 teaspoon peppermint extract
  • 1 cup whipped cream
  • Chocolate shavings for garnish

Instructions

  1. In a bowl, combine crushed chocolate cookies and melted butter.
  2. Press the mixture into the bottom of a tart pan to form the crust.
  3. In another bowl, beat the cream cheese until smooth.
  4. Add powdered sugar and peppermint extract, mixing until well combined.
  5. Fold in the whipped cream gently until fully incorporated.
  6. Spread the cream cheese mixture over the crust evenly.
  7. Chill in the refrigerator for at least 4 hours or until set.
  8. Garnish with chocolate shavings before serving.

Notes

  • For a stronger peppermint flavor, increase the peppermint extract to 1 ½ teaspoons.
  • Make sure the cream cheese is at room temperature for easier mixing.
  • This tart can be made a day in advance for convenience.
