Delightful cookies blending buttery dough with colorful chocolate M&Ms, perfect for Easter festivities.

Ingredients

  • 1 ⅔ cups all-purpose flour
  • ½ teaspoon baking powder
  • ¾ teaspoon baking soda
  • ½ teaspoon salt
  • ½ cup butter, softened
  • ½ cup granulated sugar
  • ½ cup packed brown sugar
  • 1 large egg, lightly beaten and at room temperature
  • 2 teaspoons vanilla extract
  • 1 cup milk chocolate pastel M&Ms

Instructions

  1. Preheat oven to 350°F and line a baking sheet with parchment paper.
  2. Whisk together flour, baking powder, baking soda, and salt in a medium bowl.
  3. Beat softened butter with granulated sugar and brown sugar until smooth and creamy in a separate bowl.
  4. Add the egg and vanilla extract and mix until combined.
  5. Gradually add dry ingredients to wet ingredients and mix just until a dough forms.
  6. Scoop dough into balls about 2-3 tablespoons each and place 2-3 inches apart on the baking sheet.
  7. Bake for 10-12 minutes until edges begin to lightly brown.
  8. Remove from oven and immediately press nine M&Ms into each cookie to form a bunny face.
  9. Allow cookies to cool on the baking sheet before transferring to a wire rack.
