  • ½ teaspoon salt
  • 1 tablespoon baking powder
  • 1 teaspoon baking soda
  • ½ cup unsalted butter, softened
  • 3 large eggs
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
  • 1 cup buttermilk (or dairy-free alternative)

Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C) and grease a cake pan or line it with parchment paper.
  2. Combine the gluten-free flour blend, sugar, salt, baking powder, and baking soda in a large mixing bowl.
  3. Cream the softened butter in another bowl until smooth. Add the eggs, vanilla, and buttermilk, mixing until well combined.
  4. Blend the wet ingredients gradually into the dry ingredients, stirring until smooth.
  5. Pour the batter into the prepared cake pan and smooth the top.
  6. Bake for 30-35 minutes, or until a toothpick inserted into the center comes out clean.
