- 1 cup almond flour
- 1/4 cup coconut oil, melted
- 1/4 cup honey or maple syrup
- 1/2 teaspoon vanilla extract
- 1/4 teaspoon salt
- 1 cup dates, pitted
- 1/2 cup almond butter
- 1/2 cup dark chocolate, dairy-free
- Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C).
- In a bowl, mix almond flour, melted coconut oil, honey or maple syrup, vanilla extract, and salt until well combined.
- Press the mixture into a lined baking dish to form the base layer.
- Bake for 10-12 minutes until golden brown, then let it cool.
- In a food processor, blend the pitted dates and almond butter until smooth to create the caramel layer.
- Spread the caramel layer over the cooled base layer evenly.
- Melt the dark chocolate and pour it over the caramel layer, spreading it evenly.
- Refrigerate for at least 1 hour to set before cutting into bars.

- Feel free to substitute almond flour with coconut flour for a different flavor.
