Ingredients

  • 1 cup rolled oats
  • 1 ripe banana, mashed
  • 1/4 cup unsweetened applesauce
  • 1/4 cup honey or maple syrup
  • 1/2 teaspoon cinnamon
  • 1/4 teaspoon salt
  • 1/2 cup raisins or chocolate chips (optional)

Instructions

  1. Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C).
  2. In a large bowl, combine the rolled oats, mashed banana, applesauce, honey or maple syrup, cinnamon, and salt.
  3. If using, fold in the raisins or chocolate chips.
  4. Drop spoonfuls of the mixture onto a baking sheet lined with parchment paper.
  5. Bake for 10-12 minutes or until the edges are golden brown.
  6. Allow to cool before serving.
