Delightful mini quiches filled with savory ham and rich cheese, wrapped in crispy phyllo dough. Perfect for brunch or gatherings.

Ingredients

  • 1 package of phyllo dough
  • 6 large eggs
  • 1 cup of heavy cream
  • 1 cup of shredded cheese (cheddar or Swiss)
  • 1 cup of diced ham
  • Salt and pepper, to taste
  • Optional: chopped herbs for added flavor

Instructions

  1. Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C).
  2. Grease a muffin tin lightly with cooking spray.
  3. Layer 2-3 sheets of phyllo dough on a clean surface, brush with melted butter, and cut into 4-inch squares.
  4. Press the dough squares into the muffin tin cups to form little cups.
  5. Whisk the eggs and heavy cream together in a bowl, season with salt and pepper; add optional herbs if desired.
  6. Fill each cup with a spoonful of diced ham and a pinch of cheese.
  7. Pour the egg mixture over the fillings until each cup is about ¾ full.
  8. Bake for 20-25 minutes or until tops are golden brown and eggs are set.
  9. Allow cooling for a few minutes before gently removing from the muffin tin.
