- 1 pound ground beef
- 9 lasagna noodles
- 2 cups ricotta cheese
- 2 cups shredded mozzarella cheese
- 1 cup grated Parmesan cheese
- 2 cups marinara sauce
- 1 egg
- 1 teaspoon Italian seasoning
- Salt and pepper to taste
- Preheat the oven to 375°F (190°C).
- In a skillet, cook the ground beef over medium heat until browned. Drain excess fat.
- In a bowl, mix ricotta cheese, egg, Italian seasoning, salt, and pepper.
- Spread a layer of marinara sauce on the bottom of a baking dish.
- Layer 3 lasagna noodles over the sauce, followed by half of the ricotta mixture, half of the ground beef, and a third of the mozzarella cheese.
- Repeat the layers, finishing with a layer of noodles topped with marinara sauce and remaining mozzarella and Parmesan cheese.
- Cover with foil and bake for 25 minutes. Remove foil and bake for an additional 15 minutes until cheese is bubbly.
- Let it cool for 10 minutes before serving.

- Feel free to add vegetables like spinach or mushrooms for extra nutrition.
- This dish can be made ahead of time and stored in the refrigerator.
- Leftovers can be frozen for up to 3 months.
