A delightful and quick way to enjoy pizza right off the grill, customizable with your choice of toppings.

Ingredients

  • Pizza dough
  • Olive oil
  • Tomato sauce
  • Shredded mozzarella cheese
  • Toppings of choice (e.g., pepperoni, bell peppers, onions, mushrooms)
  • Fresh basil

Instructions

  1. Preheat the grill to medium heat.
  2. Roll out the pizza dough to your desired thickness.
  3. Brush one side of the dough with olive oil.
  4. Place the oiled side down on the grill and cook for 2-3 minutes until grill marks appear.
  5. Brush the top side of the dough with olive oil and flip it over.
  6. Quickly spread tomato sauce over the cooked side and add cheese and desired toppings.
  7. Close the grill lid and cook for an additional 5-7 minutes or until the cheese is melted and bubbly.
  8. Remove from grill, top with fresh basil, slice, and serve.
