A delicious and rich chocolate tart infused with orange flavor, perfect for those following a gluten-free and vegan diet.

Ingredients

  • 1 ½ cups gluten-free almond flour
  • ¼ cup cocoa powder
  • ¼ cup coconut oil, melted
  • ¼ cup maple syrup
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
  • 1 pinch of salt
  • 1 cup dark chocolate, dairy-free
  • ½ cup coconut milk
  • 1 tablespoon orange zest
  • 2 tablespoons orange juice

Instructions

  1. Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C).
  2. In a bowl, mix almond flour, cocoa powder, melted coconut oil, maple syrup, vanilla extract, and salt until combined.
  3. Press the mixture into a tart pan to form the crust and bake for 10-12 minutes.
  4. In a saucepan, heat coconut milk until warm, then remove from heat and add dark chocolate, stirring until melted.
  5. Add orange zest and orange juice to the chocolate mixture and stir until smooth.
  6. Pour the chocolate filling into the cooled tart crust and refrigerate for at least 2 hours to set.
  7. Once set, slice and serve chilled, garnished with additional orange zest if desired.

  • Ensure the dark chocolate is dairy-free for a fully vegan recipe.
  • Can be stored in the refrigerator for up to 5 days.
  • For a sweeter tart, adjust the amount of maple syrup to taste.
