- 1 ½ cups gluten-free almond flour
- ¼ cup cocoa powder
- ¼ cup coconut oil, melted
- ¼ cup maple syrup
- 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
- 1 pinch of salt
- 1 cup dark chocolate, dairy-free
- ½ cup coconut milk
- 1 tablespoon orange zest
- 2 tablespoons orange juice
- Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C).
- In a bowl, mix almond flour, cocoa powder, melted coconut oil, maple syrup, vanilla extract, and salt until combined.
- Press the mixture into a tart pan to form the crust and bake for 10-12 minutes.
- In a saucepan, heat coconut milk until warm, then remove from heat and add dark chocolate, stirring until melted.
- Add orange zest and orange juice to the chocolate mixture and stir until smooth.
- Pour the chocolate filling into the cooled tart crust and refrigerate for at least 2 hours to set.
- Once set, slice and serve chilled, garnished with additional orange zest if desired.
